Our Founder Aermeda was founded in Otago, New Zealand by health practitioner and academic researcher Dr Jules Lawrence. Her vision was to deliver sustainable luxury products using natural formulations that are better for our skin, better for the planet, whilst promoting a circular system to reduce waste. The transition from a career in medical research and academia to owning her own creative business did not follow any conventional business model. In 2015 Jules undertook a solo hike taking over 5 months and spanning 4250km from Mexico to Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail.
